MyCourts takes security very seriously and we are currently in the process of strengthening all aspects to ensure MyCourts users and staff alike can rely on their passwords and other personal information is kept as securely as possible.
Access to all MyCourts programs will be subject to Security and Authorization principals set out as follows:
MyCourts Administrator is currently the only program subject to Security and Authorization and is in beta status.
Security is principally provided by way of User's which consists of a UserName and Password combination.
Passwords must conform to a minimum standard.
UserNames must conform to a minimum standard.
Users will be assigned a Role.
Actions and access to areas will be restricted according to the user's Role.
Password Standard
Must be at least 6 or more characters:
One character must be in Uppercase
One character must be in Lowercase
One character must be numeric (0-9)
One character must be a symbol (!@#$%^&*)
Roles
Roles inherit all the privileges of lower roles. Current roles and their initial order of precedence are:
MCAdmin
Administrator
Auditor
Owner
Supervisor
ConsoleOperator
Everybody
None
The MCAdmin and None roles cannot be moved.
